Just Relieving Stress - Makes no Sense
I have one big reason to be pissed off today, but I will ignore it (for now) and focus on the positives.
Today, I saw 3 films: the day the earth stood still, beverly hills chihuahua and the yes man. They were all pretty entertaining in my opinion, albeit with the day the earth stood still's sucky, sucky ending.
I also bought cool new tweed pants at Debenhams. Shocking steal--it was only worth P705, down from P2,000+. Will definitely go back there. Really need to exploit all the sales that have been going on!
Some really strange books were also up for sale at powerbooks. And by strange, I mean strange. There was "the world's first guide to vaginal fisting"--and I think it will be the world's last, as it is already in the bargain bins (and i don't think anyone would want to be caught dead buying that book in public). There was also "What to wear for every occasion by the Pope"! And the title wasn't a joke--the book *is* about what the Pope would wear depending on the occasion--and honestly, I don't know who the target readers of that book was. Or why it was even published.
So anyway, after sifting through the sale section of Powerbooks, I've decided my wallet has taken enough of a beating and went home.
Then I saw the e-mail that infuriated me (oh, the nerve!)-- but I channeled my thoughts to the positive (had delicious cranberry mrs. fields cookies today, and chatted with some really cool people), so now my mood is back to being good.
I really am not making sense. Must be coz i'm sleepy. So I'll go to bed now. Goodnight.
