Nervous chatter

Exams are finally over. Still have to submit a couple of requirements if I want to increase my grades, but I think *and hope* that all my subjects are sure-pass.

My Grades So Far:

POLECOL (Political Ecology): 3.0

POLECOS (Political Economy 2): 2.5

WOMEPOL (Women & Politics): 3.0

SEMIREL (International Law):

PHILPER (Philosophy of Persons): 3.5

RELSTRI (Religion & Morality): 4.0

ORIENT2: P

GPA (as of now): 3.2!

sure dean's lister (2nd honor only), barring a grade less than 2.5 from atty Gascon. WAHOO! :D unlimited cuts and absences here I come! hehehe.

=+=+=+=+=

Been enjoying my freedom so far.

Spent thursday night with Alex and Viv at UP Bahay ng Alumni. Sunflower Day Camp rocked. I usually don't move much during gigs, but they made me do a pseudo-dance thing. Happiness.

Spent the whole day friday snoozing and bumming out with lex. Come evening, HS friends Kathy, Nikka, Beng, Yonna and Mel arrive for our annual Christmas dinner. We had a pasta, chowking chicken, baked potatoes, siomai and chocolate cake buffet. I might regret indulging myself too much in the morning, but it was great fun.

A belated revelation: I'm now the only single person in my HS Barkada. It's fine, just as long as they don't all bring their boyfriends everytime we go out. I'd look like a chaperone! Else, I'm very happy and excited for them.

Wishing for more carefree times. Tomorrow, star city with Harris as promised. I also want to go visit Mike's art exhibit sometime soon. So much opportunities for fun everywhere! Weeee! Enjoying this

More updates re: my grades later! Ciao! (Wish me luck! )

12 Steps

Hi. I am Estelle, and I am a food addict.

At least this season, I am.

Been eating Turkey non-stop since yesterday. Just today, it was my breakfast, lunch and dinner :p And I'm not complaining. Yumm.

I just hope I have enough willpower and discipline to fix my eating habits once the season is over. Else, i'll need to shop for a new wardrobe :p alskdjfsdlkfjgh.

Blah blah black sheep have you any wool. yes sir, yes sir, three bags full. Merry Christmas everyone!

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

To everyone who greeted me, through text, ym, and phone: thank you. If I didn't reply, it wasn't because of laziness. It was because I was load-less (?!?). Will post a whole different entry about Seasons Greetings, but ttfn. :D

Merry and Happy

This year, I took note of Christmas Greetings I have received as a sign of my own twisted version of appreciation for anyone and everyone who bothered to greet me.

ESTELLE's CHRISTMAS GREETINGS AWARDS 2005

**note: if you're reading my blog, and you happen to have won an award for your Xmas Greeting, please feel flattered. It would add to my award's prestige. If offended, PM me immediately and I shall remove your name from the list of awardees--let's continue being friends afterwards. Hooray.**

WEIRDEST CHRISTMAS GREETING I'VE RECEIVED IN YR 2005: Donneil
"Hello! Happy Donneil's Day!..."

CUTEST CHRISTMAS GREETING: Rachelle
"I've already told Santa what I want for Christmas, a friend that will stay forever... So if a fat man comes around and tries to wrap you up, PLEASE COOPERATE. "

MOST CYNICAL: Bojit
"Season's greetings! ('Merry Xmas' is now deemed politically incorrect by those who push for a more secular, therefore materialistic reason for the holidays).

FUNNIEST: Wendell
"I originally tried to send you the sexiest and most wonderful gift ever. However, the postman kicked me out of the mailbox and told me that i'm TOO fragile. Oh well, greetings would be alright then..."

MOST "ECONOMICAL": Max
"Due to budget considerations...GMA said we have to cut down on our Christmas greetings this year. and so, Merry and Happy!"

MOST ANNOYING: Steven
"Merry Christmas! Libre!!"

MOST UNEXPECTED (& one of the most cherished): Jungle's...thank you dearest.

What I've done to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ:
- had a F-R-I-E-N-D-S marathon
- watched the skeleton key
- watched the shining
- eat, eat, eat
- nap, nap, nap
- download widgets for our mac
- write this stupid, yet long, entry

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I have a feeling I'll regret this post after a couple of hours)...
MERRY CHRISTMAS AGAIN!!!
